Max Brower was born and raised in Cape May, New Jersey. He began writing in the 5th grade (his first story was from a Weekly Reader prompt about “Rocky”, an adventurist, lost squirrel). He began his first novel (The Cross) in Highschool, finishing shortly after graduation.

His first published work was the short story "Angel Face," which appeared in the May/June 2017 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine.

His first published novel "How to Kill Two Presidents" was recorded over a one-year period while he was a cross-country truck driver, running a route between Reading, PA, Bristol, TN, and Salina, KS.

He currently lives in Butler, MO, with his wife, dog, six cats, and pet boa constrictor, Lilith.
